AlpVent AG is an investment company that invests in highly promising startups. As an investor we have a good knowledge of the CE region and the operation of innovative companies in it, with a focus on Austria and Slovenia. As the result of many years of entrepreneurial and mangerial experience, we know what entrepreneurs in innovative companies need.
With the method of our special investment approach, entrepreneurs acquire an investor who knows the startup environment of the region in which he operates, has the knowledge of acting on foreign markets, and especially the experience with already made investments in similar companies.
Many startup founders are extraordinary in developing products and services, but have fewer experience in sales and marketing implementation activities. For this purpose, AlpVent has developed a unique approach to cooperating with its investments in order to create a positive partnership, where the overall goal of all multiplicative revenue growth and EBITDA, and the establishment of a lean and stable organization in the company. The ultimate goal is to help founders to become their global leader in their niche-focused field within three to five years. All this is to the owners of the promise of a good exit.

Aleksander Kopač
Founder, CEO
Aleksander is an entrepreneur who founded / co-founded several companies in his 27 year business career. After a very successful exit out of his IT start-up UCS, Aleksander founded AlpVent AG as a venture capital company investing in Central European breakthrough start-up companies (Seed and Series A). His passion is international sales and thus helping founders scaling up their start-ups and so building niche, but global market leaders in just a few years.
Martin Kopač, M. Sc.
Partner
Martin Kopač acquired MBA at School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana where he started his career as Assistant Professor. He was a Board member in Gorenje, SOZD Kemija and Gorenjska Banka and was member of Supervisory boards of Sava, Abanka and Gorenjska Banka. He spent most of his career in the top management positions in industry and in two banks. He was a member of the European industrial technology platform Manufuture. For many years he was General Manager of Alpina. Having left Alpina, he and his son Aleksander run and successfully brought to the exit UCS, a highly innovative company in the fields of 3D scanning devices & software and AI.
